			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>FOX News Channel (FNC) has hired former U.S. Representative Allen West (R-FL) as a contributor, announced Bill Shine, Executive Vice President of Programming for the network. West will offer political commentary across various daytime and primetime programs.</p>
<p>In making the announcement, Shine said, “Representative West’s congressional and military experience along with his fearless approach to voicing key issues will provide a valuable point of view to the FOX News lineup.”</p>
<p>Currently, West is the Director of Next Generation TV Programming with PJ Media. Prior to that, West served as a Republican member of the U.S. House of Representatives for Florida, representing the state’s 22<sup>nd</sup> congressional district, from January 2011 to January 2013. While a member of Congress, he served on the Armed Services and Small Business Committees. Additionally, West was a member of the Tea Party Caucus.</p>
<p>Before his political career, West served in the United States Army for 22 years, achieving the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. West earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Tennessee and his master’s degree from Kansas State University. He also holds a Master of Military Arts and Sciences from U.S. Army Command and General Staff Officer College.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>FOX News Channel (FNC) has hired Tucker Carlson as co-host of <em>FOX &amp; Friends Weekend</em> announced Bill Shine, Executive Vice President of Programming. Carlson, the founder and editor-in-chief of <em>The Daily Caller,</em> will debut on Saturday, April 6<sup>th</sup>.</p>
<p>In making the announcement, Shine said, “We’ve been impressed with Tucker’s lively and thought-provoking appearances on our air and are pleased that he is joining the <em>FOX &amp; Friends Weekend </em>team where his vibrant personality will be a great addition to the show.”</p>
<p>In his new role on the most-watched weekend morning program in cable news (6-10AM/ET), Carlson will deliver news analysis, conduct interviews and participate in a variety of recurring segments alongside current co-hosts Alisyn Camerota and Clayton Morris.  Additionally, Carlson, who serves as a FOX News contributor, will continue to appear on the network’s daytime and prime time programming.</p>
<p>A media veteran<strong>, </strong>Carlson launched <em>The Daily Caller </em>in 2010<em>, a </em>24-hour news site featuring original reporting, commentary and breaking news. Previously, he hosted the political program <em>Tucker </em>on MSNBC from 2005 through 2008. Prior to that, Carlson spent five years at CNN co-hosting <em>The Spin Room</em> and later <em>Crossfire</em>.   He began his career at <em>Policy Review</em>, a national conservative journal, and has also worked at the <em>Arkansas Democrat-Gazette</em> and <em>The Weekly Standard</em>.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>FOX News Channel (FNC) has hired former Republican presidential candidate, businessman, author and columnist Herman Cain as a contributor, announced Bill Shine, Executive Vice President of Programming. Cain will provide analysis and commentary across FNC’s daytime and primetime programming, as well as on FOX Business Network (FBN).</p>
<p>In making the announcement, Shine said, “Cain’s impressive resume makes him a valuable addition to the FOX News and FOX Business lineup.  As a political expert with business savvy, he brings an important voice to the nation’s debates.”</p>
<p>Most recently, Cain was a candidate for the 2012 Republican presidential nomination, where he notably proposed the “9-9-9” tax plan to solve the nation’s debt problem. Prior to that, Cain served as a conservative radio host, columnist and author. His involvement in politics began in 2000 when he briefly was a candidate for the Republican presidential nomination and then later ran for the U.S. Senate in 2004 in Georgia.</p>
<p>Cain added, “I&#8217;m excited about joining the FOX family as a contributor because it is an opportunity to be one more voice for intelligent thinking in America.&#8221;</p>
<p>Before politics, Cain led a successful career as a businessman.  He was CEO of the National Restaurant Association from 1996 to 1999 and President and CEO of Godfather’s Pizza from 1986 to 1996 where he saved the business from the brink of bankruptcy.  Additionally, Cain held several high-level positions at the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City, Pillsbury and the Coca-Cola Company. He earned an undergraduate degree from Morehouse College and a Master’s degree from Purdue University.</p>

Brown will offer political commentary across various daytime and primetime programs, making his debut on <em>Hannity </em>(9PM/ET)<em> </em>on Wednesday evening.</p>
<p>In making the announcement, Shine said, “Senator Brown’s dedication to out-of-the box thinking on key issues makes him an important voice in the country and we are looking forward to his contributions across all FOX News platforms.”</p>
<p>Most recently, Brown represented Massachusetts in the U.S. Senate from 2010 to 2012, a seat he notably took over from the late Sen. Edward M. Kennedy in a special election.  While a member of the Senate, he was a known problem solver working with both sides in an independent manner. Prior to his time there, he led an active political career in Massachusetts where he was a member of the State Senate from 2004 to 2010, the State House of Representatives from 1998 to 2004 and the Massachusetts General Court.</p>
<p>Brown added, “I am looking forward to commenting on the issues of the day and challenging our elected officials to put our country&#8217;s needs first instead of their own partisan interests.”</p>
<p>He has also served in the Army National Guard for 33 years, currently holding the rank of Colonel, JAG in the Maryland Army National Guard.  Brown earned his J.D. from Boston College Law School and undergraduate degree from Tufts University.</p>

<p>In making the announcement, Mr. Ailes said, “Karl’s detailed knowledge of state and national politics, as well as fundraising and strategy, makes him an important player in our ongoing political coverage and we look forward to him continuing his analysis across all platforms for FOX News and FOX Business.”</p>
<p>Rove joined FNC as a contributor in February of 2008, providing political analysis and key insights on the election seasons that followed. Prior to this, Rove served as Deputy Chief of Staff and Senior Advisor during President George W. Bush’s administration before he resigned in 2007.  Rove also headed the Office of Political Affairs, the Office of Public Liaison, and the White House Office of Strategic Initiatives.  Before his tenure at the White House, he was the chief strategist for President Bush’s 2000 Presidential campaign, as well as his re-election in 2004.</p>
<p>During his extensive career in politics, Rove also served as a political consultant to a number of Republican candidates during their successful campaigns, including former Texas Governor Bill Clements and former Texas Representative and Senator Phil Gramm. Additionally, he was president of Karl Rove &amp; Company, a public affairs firm based in Austin and taught at the LBJ School of Public Affairs and in the Journalism Department at the University of Texas at Austin.  Rove attended the University of Utah where he began his career with the College Republicans as their executive director before becoming Chairman of the organization</p>

<p>Most recently, Kucinich served as a Democratic member of the U.S. House of Representatives for Ohio, representing Ohio’s 10<sup>th</sup> congressional district, for sixteen years from 1997 to January 2013.  Furthermore, he served as Subcommittee Chairman on the Oversight and Government Reform Committee, as well as being a ranking member, and was also on the Education and the Workforce Committee.  Additionally, Kucinich was a candidate for the Democratic nomination for the President of the United States in both 2004 and 2008.  Prior to serving in Congress, he was an Ohio State Senator for two years.  He also ran his own marketing and communications firm, K Communications, from 1988 to 1994 while he took time off from serving in office.</p>
<p>Kucinich began his long career in government at the young age of 23 when he was elected to the Cleveland City Council.  At the age of 31, he was elected mayor of Cleveland and was the youngest mayor, at the time, of a major city in the United States. He is also the author of <em>The Courage to Survive</em>, which was published in 2007.</p>

<p><em>Special Report’s</em> Bret Baier and <em>America Live’s</em> Megyn Kelly will co-anchor <em>America’s Election Headquarters: Inauguration 2013</em> for the private ceremony on Sunday, January 20<sup>th</sup> at 11AM/ET along with the public event on Monday, January 21<sup>st</sup> from 11AM-3PM/ET and 9-10PM/ET live from Washington. 			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>FOX News Channel (FNC) has re-signed Martha MacCallum to a multi-year deal where she will continue as the co-anchor of <em>America’s Newsroom</em>, announced Roger Ailes, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of FOX News.</p>
<p>In making the announcement, Ailes said, “Martha brings unique enthusiasm and talent to delivering the news and connects incredibly well with our viewers. We look forward to her continuing to play a valuable role in the network’s success.”</p>
<p>Since 2010, MacCallum has co-anchored <em>America’s Newsroom </em>(9-11 AM/ET) alongside Bill Hemmer. The two-hour weekday news program averages nearly 1.5 million total viewers, beating both CNN and MSNBC combined during that timeslot, according to Nielsen Media Research.</p>
<p>During her tenure at FNC, MacCallum has played an integral role in the network’s coverage of the 2004, 2008 and 2012 presidential elections. She has covered major international and national stories including the Royal Wedding, Hurricane Katrina and the funeral of Pope John Paul II. Her wide-ranging interviews include General David Petraeus, President Obama strategist David Axelrod, Senator John McCain and New Jersey Governor Chris Christie.</p>
<p>Prior to her current role on <em>America’s Newsroom</em>, MacCallum anchored FNC’s weekday news programs <em>The Live Desk </em>from 2006 to 2010 and <em>FOX News Live</em> from 2004 to 2006.<em> </em>Before joining FNC,<em> </em>MacCallum served a variety of positions at NBC from 1997 to 2003, including co-anchor of CNBC’s <em>Morning Call with Martha MacCallum and Ted David</em> and anchor of CNBC’s <em>Checkpoint</em>.</p>
