			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Harris Faulkner has been named the anchor of FOX Report Weekend (Saturdays &amp; Sundays, 7-8 PM/ET), the network’s signature weekend newscast, announced Roger Ailes, Chairman and CEO of FOX News. Faulkner currently serves as the breaking news anchor for Happening Now.</p>
<p>In making the announcement, Ailes said, “Harris has done an excellent job in a variety of roles for FOX News – she handles breaking news well and exhibits great journalistic instincts. We’re proud to see that she will lead a program that is so vital to our network.”</p>
<p>Joining FOX News in 2005, Faulkner initially served as a correspondent and primetime news break anchor. Previously, she served as a correspondent for the newsmagazine show A Current Affair and as a substitute host for The Nancy Grace Show on Headline News. Before that, she worked as the primary evening anchor on KSTP-TV (ABC) and also hosted The Harris Faulkner radio talk show on FM107 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. From 1993 to 2000, Faulkner was the evening anchor for FOX 4 News in Kansas City. She began her television career at WNCT-TV (CBS) as an anchor and reporter in Greenville, North Carolina.</p>
<p>A recipient of six Emmy Awards, including the 2004 Emmy for Best Newscaster and Best News Special, she graduated from the University of California at Santa Barbara with a degree in Mass Communications.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>FOX News has released its criteria for entry into the South Carolina Republican Party debate on May 5th, announced Michael Clemente, Senior Vice President of News for the network.</p>
<p>In making the announcement, Clemente said, “Every potential debate candidate must meet all six steps of the following criteria no later than 5 PM/ET on Friday April 29th in order to be eligible for participation in the debate.”</p>
<p>Criteria for entry are as follows:</p>
<p>•  Must register a presidential exploratory committee or have announced a formal campaign for president; and</p>
<p>•  Must file all necessary paperwork with the Federal Elections Commission (FEC); and</p>
<p>•  Must file all necessary paperwork with the South Carolina Republican Party; and</p>
<p>•  Must have paid all federal and South Carolina filing fees; and</p>
<p>•  Must meet all U.S. Constitutional requirements; and</p>
<p>•  Must have garnered at least an average of one percent in five national polls based on most recent polling leading up to April 29th, 2011</p>
<p>In December, FOX News and the South Carolina Republican Party announced they would present two presidential debates. The initial debate will take place on May 5th at the Peace Center in Greenville, South Carolina. The second debate will be held in 2012 prior to the South Carolina primary at a location to be determined.</p>
<p>The debates are currently scheduled to be presented live and exclusively on FOX News Channel (FNC), FOX News Radio, FOX News Mobile and FOXNews.com.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>FOX News Channel (FNC) will present extensive live coverage of the Royal Wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton throughout the week leading up to the celebration. The main event will be co-hosted by Shepard Smith and Martha MacCallum from Buckingham Palace on Friday April 29th beginning at 4 AM/ET.</p>
<p>On the wedding day, Shepard Smith and Martha MacCallum will be joined by Gretchen Carlson and Jonathan Hunt reporting live from Westminster Abbey, while Happening Now co-anchors Jenna Lee and Jon Scott will provide analysis from New York. Event coverage will run commercial-free from 5:30-8 AM/ET. Additionally, Royal experts providing commentary throughout include: former Royal butler Paul Burrell; Christopher Anderson, author of William and Kate: A Royal Love Story; and former Good Morning America host Joan Lunden, who covered the wedding of Prince Charles and Princess Diana in 1981. During primetime hours, FNC will highlight special moments from the ceremony and the day’s events.</p>
<p>Additional FNC coverage plans for the week of the Royal Wedding include:</p>
<p>•  FNC will simulcast Sky News from 1-6 AM/ET on Wednesday April 27th and Thursday April 28th.</p>
<p>•  On Wednesday April 27th, Gretchen Carlson will co-host Fox and Friends (7-9 AM/ET) live from London. Martha MacCallum will also co-anchor America’s Newsroom (9-11 AM/ET) from London while Bill Hemmer will provide coverage from New York.</p>
<p>•  On Thursday April 28th and Friday April 29th, Shepard Smith will anchor Studio B (3-4 PM/ET) and Fox Report (7-8 PM/ET) from London. Greta Van Susteren will also host her show On the Record from London later that evening at 10 PM/ET.</p>
<p>In addition, Foxnews.com will launch a special Royal Wedding page beginning Monday April 18th that will showcase all content related to the event and provide viewers the latest via the web and live streams. The page will also host live chats, slideshows of the main events, and highlight photo submissions from spectators in and around the ceremony.</p>
<p>FOX News Radio (FNR) will begin providing live updates on Thursday April 28th and will provide continuous Royal Wedding coverage on Friday April 29th, beginning at 4 AM/ET. FNR London correspondent Alastair Wanklyn and reporter Jennifer Keiper will update listeners live from the streets of London.</p>

Glenn intends to transition off of his daily program, the third highest rated in all of cable news, later this year.</p>
