Jesse Watters to Permanently Host the Saturday Night 8PM/ET Timeslot

FOX News Channel’s (FNC) series of monthly specials, Watters’ World, will become a weekly part of FNC’s weekend lineup beginning Saturday, January 7^th at 8PM/ET, announced Suzanne Scott, Executive Vice President of Programming at FOX News Channel.

Hosted by The O’Reilly Factor’s signature correspondent, Jesse Watters, the hour-long programs are an extension of his segments on the top-rated cable news show, which feature his popular man-on-the-street interviews and provide viewers a comedic look at the latest headlines. Capitalizing on his original style, the segments will showcase Watters traveling to different locations and quizzing individuals about politics, pop culture, and current events.  Additionally, the hourly Watters’ World episodes will feature a rotating panel of commentators, debating on the news of the day, as well as interviews with high-profile guests.

In making the announcement, Scott said, “Jesse’s monthly specials have proven extremely popular and we are confident the Watters’ World weekly airings will make a great addition to our weekend lineup.”

Watters added, “I am humbled that FOX News Channel has given me this opportunity. I look forward to viewers entering my world more often and wouldn’t be in this position if it weren’t for Bill.”

In conjunction with his role on The O’Reilly Factor, Watters serves as a correspondent, producer and managing editor for FOX Nation. He joined FNC in 2002 as a production assistant and has been working with The O’Reilly Factor since 2003.
