JEHMU GREENE RE-SIGNS WITH FOX NEWS AS A CONTRIBUTOR
NEW YORK – MARCH 5, 2018 – FOX News Channel (FNC) has re-signed Jehmu Greene as a contributor, the network announced today. In her role, she will continue to offer integral analysis on social justice and politics across FNC and Fox Business Network’s (FBN) daytime and primetime programming.
In making the announcement, Suzanne Scott, president of programming said, “Since joining FOX News nearly eight years ago, Jehmu has built a strong relationship with our viewers and we value her insight across all of our programming.”
Greene added, “I’m looking forward to providing my signature, unapologetically progressive, commentary to the FOX News Channel and FOX Business Network audience.”
Greene joined FNC in November 2010 as a contributor and regularly appears on programming across the FNC and FBN networks, including Kennedy, Fox & Friends, Outnumbered Overtime and America’s News HQ. She is a Distinguished Fellow at Barnard College’s Athena Center for Leadership and Board Chair of VoteRunLead. Additionally, Greene ran for Chair of the Democratic National Committee in 2017.
Prior to joining the network, Greene was appointed by former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton to serve on the U.S. National Commission for United Nations Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization (UNESCO). She also served as the first African-American president of the Rock the Vote organization from 2000-2005.
Greene began her career working in local Texas politics. Since then, she has worked on more than 20 political campaigns at the local, state and national level, and served as an adviser and national surrogate for Hillary Clinton’s 2008 presidential campaign.
She was recognized by Essence Magazine for being both one of the 40 Women under 40 Shaping the World and one of the 35 Most Beautiful and Remarkable Women in the World. Additionally, she received the National Conference for Community and Justice’s Community Service Award, American Association of University Women’s Women of Distinction Award and National Council for Research on Women – Women Making a Difference Award.
