FOX News to Provide Around-the-Clock Live Coverage Beginning Monday, March 16th
FOX News Channel (FNC) will present continuous live coverage of the latest news and information pertaining to the Coronavirus (COVID-19). In addition to extensive coverage throughout weekday and primetime shows, FNC will expand live programming and feature dedicated hours to the global pandemic throughout this weekend and next week.
Tonight at 10PM/ET, Bill Hemmer will anchor a special edition of Bill Hemmer Reports, to deliver viewers the latest developments on the declared national state of emergency surrounding the spread of coronavirus.
On Saturday and Sunday at 1PM/ET, anchors Leland Vittert (Washington DC) and Laura Ingle (New York) will host a devoted hour to the ongoing pandemic entitled Coronavirus Pandemic. The special will focus exclusively on the virus, the latest updates worldwide, as well as viewer questions and health recommendations. FNC’s live weekend programming will also feature FNC contributor Dr. Nicole Saphier as a FOX & Friends Weekend (6-10A/ET) co-host alongside Pete Hegseth and Jedediah Bila on Saturday, in addition to an expanded two-hour edition of FOX Report with Jon Scott on both Saturday, March 14th from 6-8PM/ET and Sunday, March 15th from 5-7PM/ET.
Beginning Monday March 16th, Outnumbered Overtime anchor Harris Faulkner will continue to dedicate the 1PM/ET hour each day to providing viewers the latest insights on the pandemic during Coronavirus Pandemic: Questions Answered. FNC contributors Dr. Marc Siegel and Dr. Nicole Saphier will be featured on the special to provide medical expertise and analysis on the crisis. Throughout the week at 1PM, Faulkner, alongside various medical experts, will answer viewer questions submitted online via email, social media, and Skype.
On Monday evening, anchor Shannon Bream will helm an extended version of FOX News @ Night from 11-1AM/ET followed by chief breaking news correspondent Trace Gallagher from 1AM-4AM/ET. This extended news schedule will be in effect until further notice.
FOX News Media will also produce a nightly national three minute live news report for FOX O&O’s and Affiliates, providing FOX viewers around the country with the most up to date national perspective and context on the coronavirus pandemic. Anchored by FOX News Channel’s Bill Hemmer, the special live report will air Monday-Friday at 6:01PM/ET, beginning Monday, March 16th, and will utilize resources from FOX News Media journalists worldwide.
Additionally on Monday, FOXNews.com will begin hosting a daily (M-F) live blog where America’s foremost medical experts will answer various user-submitted questions. Emails submitted to live-blog@foxnews.com will be considered for each Q&A session and answered live on FOXNews.com from 12-1PM/ET in a text Q&A format. Each Q&A session will be archived at FOXNews.com/Health.
FOX News Digital will also launch FOX News Today: The Coronavirus Crisis, a daily digital newsletter providing the latest updates in the pandemic that altered lives across the nation and around the world, will launch Monday at 12PM/ET. Every afternoon, the FOX News audience will receive a compilation of the latest news updates, the most thought-provoking FOX News interviews, and the most helpful tips FOX News Digital has to offer to assist the public during this crisis. FOX News Channel’s streaming service, FOX Nation will offer informational content related to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) on Monday, March 16th, including Five Plus, a documentary on the history of major viruses, a special entitled Pandemics & Epidemics 101 and Quarantined, a series of interviews with two victims who detail their entire experience from quarantine to recovery.
