FOX NEWS CHANNEL TO CONTINUE LIVE COVERAGE OF THE MEMORIAL SERVICES HONORING CIVIL RIGHTS ICON REP. JOHN LEWIS

Harris Faulkner and Chris Wallace to Anchor FNC’s “Remembering Representative John Lewis” Coverage Monday  

FOX News Channel (FNC) will continue to present live coverage of the memorial events honoring Rep. John Lewis (D-GA) throughout Monday, July 27th and throughout the remainder of the week. Entitled Remembering Representative John Lewis, the network’s coverage will highlight the extraordinary life of the civil rights icon as well as feature prominent guests throughout the week.

On Monday, July 27th, Harris Faulkner will anchor a special edition of Americas’ Newsroom beginning at 11AM/ET as Rep. Lewis’ casket arrives at Joint Base Andrews from Montgomery, Alabama and is transported to the United States Capitol where he will lie in state. Joined by FOX News Sunday anchor Chris Wallace, the network’s coverage will continue throughout the afternoon. Correspondent Steve Harrigan will report live from Montgomery, while Congressional correspondent Chad Pergram and Chief Congressional correspondent Mike Emanuel will bring the latest to viewers from Capitol Hill. Correspondent David Spunt will provide contributions from downtown Washington, D.C. including at Black Lives Matter Plaza, the site of Rep. Lewis’ last public appearance, as his motorcade passes by on its route to the U.S. Capitol. The network will also offer a simulcast of the memorial procession arriving at the Capitol and the service proceeding to its FOX affiliates beginning at 1PM/ET. 

Additionally, FOX News Digital will stream the service live from the Capitol Rotunda on FOXNews.com. The network will continue to provide live coverage of forthcoming services to honor Rep. Lewis in Atlanta, Georgia where the congressman served his constituents in Congress since 1987.
