Special Report’s Bret Baier and The Story’s Martha MacCallum to Helm Special Coverage Ahead of and on Election Day Live from Atlanta
Anchor Bill Hemmer will Feature Signature Electronic “Bill-board” on the Ground in Georgia
NEW YORK – January 4, 2021 — FOX News Channel (FNC) will present special live coverage surrounding the Georgia Senate run-off elections between the state’s senior Senator Republican David Perdue and Democratic challenger Jon Ossoff and junior Republican Senator Kelly Loeffler and Democratic challenger Reverend Raphael Warnock through election day in Georgia.
On the eve of the election, Baier and MacCallum will lead an additional two-hour special from 6-8PM/ET, featuring up-to-the-minute coverage throughout the battleground state joined by an all-star panel with expert analysis and predictions ahead of the vote. On Monday, January 4th and Tuesday, January 5th, Hemmer will anchor afternoon news program, Bill Hemmer Reports (weekdays at 3PM/ET) on the ground in Atlanta, while Martha MacCallum will guest anchor Your World with Neil Cavuto (weekdays at 4PM/ET) on Monday, which will also originate from the Peach State. Baier and MacCallum will provide analysis throughout various FNC daytime programming, including America’s Newsroom (weekdays 9AM-12PM/ET) and Outnumbered (weekdays 12PM/ET).
Chief political anchor and Special Report’s (weeknights at 6PM/ET) Bret Baier and anchor and executive editor of The Story (weeknights at 7PM/ET) Martha MacCallum will headline a two-hour special on election day live from 6-8PM/ET. On the ground in Atlanta, Georgia, Baier and MacCallum will bring viewers the latest results from across the state as polls close. Throughout the evening, FNC will feature analysis from anchor Bill Hemmer breaking down the numbers on his signature electronic “Bill-board” from Atlanta, while anchor Shannon Bream (FOX News @ Night, weeknights at 11PM/ET) will report live from Washington, D.C. on data from the FOX News Voter Analysis system. Baier and MacCallum will be joined by a team of journalists and commentators to provide analysis as the results come in including FOX News Sunday’s Chris Wallace, senior political analyst Brit Hume, The Daily Briefing anchor and co-host of The Five, Dana Perino, political analyst and The Five co-host Juan Williams. FOX News correspondents Alicia Acuna, Peter Doocy, Matt Finn, Steve Harrigan, Griff Jenkins, Jonathan Serrie, Mark Meredith and Jonathan Serrie will also be fanned out across the battleground state. Gillian Turner and Jon Scott will provide overnight coverage from 1-4AM/ET.
FOX News Digital and the FOX News Mobile App will feature a Live Updates page with up-to-the-minute election news, plus county-by-county results and events streamed live on FOXNews.com. FOX News Radio (FNR) will provide live coverage helmed by FNR national correspondent Jared Halpern and FNR political analyst Josh Kraushaar, along with contributions from FNR reporter Eben Brown live on the ground in Georgia. The following morning at 8AM/ET, Halpern, Kraushaar and Brown will present an hour-long live special on the balance of power in the United States Senate.
