“The Mothers and Daughter of the Bible Speak” Moves Nearly 200,000 Copies in Debut Month, Among Fastest Selling Titles of the Year

“The Women of the Bible Speak” Continues to Outperform, Seeing 107% Spike in Sales Surrounding Mother’s Day

NEW YORK – May 13, 2022 – FOX News Books, the publishing unit of FOX News Media, continues to deliver strong sales, with the biblical franchise from Shannon Bream dominating the New York Times bestseller list with back-to-back titles. In the five weeks since its debut, “The Mothers and Daughters of the Bible Speak” has moved nearly 200,000 copies (excluding bulk sales), while “The Women of the Bible Speak” has sold roughly half a million copies since its debut last year following a 107% spike in sales surrounding Mother’s Day.

Since the imprint debuted in November 2020, FOX News Books has published four titles, each of which reached national bestseller status. Collectively, “Modern Warriors” (Nov. 2020), “The Women of the Bible Speak” (March 2021), “All American Christmas” (November 2021) and “The Mothers and Daughters of the Bible Speak” (March 2022), have sold more than 1 million copies to date and continue to deliver strong sales. Notably, “The Women of the Bible Speak” was the number one religious book of 2021 and the 13^th bestselling adult nonfiction book of the year, according to Bookscan. The debut title from Bream spent 16 consecutive weeks on the New York Times bestseller list, five of which at number one, and has been among the top 10 books since “Mothers and Daughters of the Bible Speak” published in March.
