NEW YORK – April 3, 2024 FOX Weather, FOX News Media’s free ad-supported streaming television (FAST) weather service, will span the country to present special marathon coverage leading up to and throughout the solar eclipse on April 8th, the first the country has seen in totality since August 2017. Entitled America’s Total Eclipse, FOX Weather will dispatch correspondents and meteorologists across the country to report from the cities across the country that will see the eclipse.

Spanning nearly 10 different cities, FOX Weather meteorologists and correspondents along with FOX News correspondents and multimedia reporters will report live across the arc of the eclipse, from Texas to Vermont. Meteorologists Stephen Morgan and Kendall Smith will anchor coverage live from Dallas and the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, respectively when the eclipse occurs from 12-4 PM/ET. Additionally, FOX News correspondent Casey Stegall will be in Dallas, FOX News senior meteorologist Janice Dean will be based in Little Rock, Arkansas, FOX Weather correspondent Robert Ray and FOX News correspondent Jonathan Hunt will report from Indianapolis Motor Speedway, FOX Weather correspondent Brandy Campbell will be in Rochester, New York and FOX Business correspondent Kelly Saberi will be in Bloomington, Indiana. FOX News multimedia reporters Joy Addison, Olivianna Calmes and Kailey Schuyler in Waco, Texas, Cape Girardeau, Missouri and Burlington, Vermont respectively. Additionally, FOX Weather meteorologist Nick Kosir will host a viewing party of the total solar eclipse from FOX Square, outside the network’s New York City headquarters. Beginning at 12 PM/ET, a multiscreen viewing experience will be set up on Sixth Avenue to showcase the live coverage. 

FOX Weather will also provide extended segments with correspondents in the days leading up to the eclipse. Correspondent Max Gorden will visit the Griffith Observatory in Los Angeles to speak with Dr. E.C. Kupp and Campbell will interview NASA scientists about the phenomenon leading up to April 8th. FOXWeather.com will feature forecasts, popular events coinciding with the eclipse and other special content explaining the eclipse.
