FOX NEWS CHANNEL CONTINUES TO LEAD ALL BROADCAST NETWORKS IN PRIMETIME SINCE START OF SUMMER

‘Gutfeld!’ is Most-Watched in Late-Night

NEW YORK— August 5, 2025— FOX News Channel (FNC) has averaged since 2.9 million viewers in weekday primetime leading all broadcast networks including NBC (2.6 million viewers), CBS (2.1 million viewers) and ABC (2 million viewers) since the start of summer on June 20 through Sunday August 3. During the week of July 28, FNC secured 2.8 million viewers in weekday primetime surpassing ABC (2.1 million viewers) and CBS (2.1 million viewers). In Monday – Sunday total day (6 AM-6 AM/ET), FNC posted 1.5 million viewers and 167,000 in the 25-54 demo leading all of cable. FNC commanded 66% of the primetime and 63% of the total day cable news audience and delivered 95 of the top 100 weekly cable telecasts.

  • For the week of July 28-August 3, The Five averaged 3.5 million viewers and 367,000 in the 25-54 demo, leading cable news in all categories. Notably, The Five surpassed all airings of Big Brother on CBS for the week. At 6 PM/ET, Special Report with Bret Baier drew 2.5 million viewers and 241,000 in the 25-54 demo. The Ingraham Angle saw 2.5 million viewers and 236,000 in the 25-54 demo at 7 PM/ET. At 9 PM/ET, Hannity posted 2.6 million viewers and 308,000 with A25-54. At 11 PM/ET, FOX News @ Night secured 1.8 million viewers and 233,000 in the 25-54 demo.
  • At 10 PM/ET, Gutfeld! commanded 2.9 million viewers and 355,000 in the 25-54 demo leading all broadcast late-night shows with viewers. CBS’ The Late Show with Stephen Colbert averaged 2.3 million viewers and NBC’s The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon lagged behind with 1 million viewers.
  • FNC continued to see its daytime programs outpace the broadcast competition. The Will Cain Show (weekdays, 4 PM/ET; 1,898,000 viewers), Outnumbered (weekdays, 12 PM/ET; 1,848,000 viewers), The Faulkner Focus (weekdays, 11 AM/ET; 1,799,000 viewers), America’s Newsroom (weekdays, 9-11 AM/ET; 1,783,000 viewers), America Reports (weekdays, 1-3 PM/ET; 1,702,000 viewers) and The Story (weekdays, 3 PM/ET; 1,665,000) all led NBC’s Today Third Hour (1,638,000 viewers) and ABC’s GMA3 (1,179,000 viewers).
  • On Saturday, My View with Lara Trump (Saturday, 9 PM/ET) drew 1.4 million viewers and 141,000 in the 25-54 demo leading cable news while commanding 76% of the cable news audience in the demo. Life, Liberty & Levin (weekends, 8 PM/ET) secured 1.2 million viewers.
  • Sunday Night in America with Trey Gowdy (Sunday, 9 PM/ET) was the top show of the weekend with 1.6 million viewers. Sunday Morning Futures was the top show in the 25-54 demo with 167,000 viewers.
