FOX NEWS CHANNEL DRAWS 5.2 MILLION VIEWERS DURING SPECIAL COVERAGE OF CHARLIE KIRK’S MEMORIAL

FNC Holds Nearly 90% of Cable News Share from 1:30-7:15 PM/ET

Network Peaks with 6.6 Million Total Viewers and 1.1 million A25-54 Viewers during Erika Kirk’s Speech in the 6 PM/ET Hour

NEW YORK – September 23, 2025 — FOX News Channel’s (FNC) special coverage of the memorial of Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk delivered 5.2 million viewers and 755,000 in the 25-54 demo from 1:30-7:15 PM/ET on Sunday, September 21, according to Nielsen Media Research Big Data Plus Panel. Throughout the duration of the special coverage, the network held 89% and 91% share of the cable news audience with viewers and the 25-54 demo, respectively. Additionally, FNC secured quadruple-digit advantages over CNN’s 372,000 viewers and 46,000 in the 25-54 demo and MSNBC’s 260,000 viewers and 26,000 in the 25-54 demo from 1:30-7:15 PM/ET. FNC’s viewership peaked during Erika Kirk’s remarks during the 6 PM/ET hour, with 6.6 million viewers and 1.1 million in the 25-54 demo.

From 1:30-6 PM/ET, Kayleigh McEnany and Lawrence Jones’ four-hour special titled Remembering Charlie Kirk (1:30-6 PM/ET) commanded 4,882,000 viewers and 679,000 in the younger demo, surpassing CNN (345,000 viewers; 42,000 A25-54) and MSNBC (265,000 viewers and 26,000 A25-54).

FOX News’ YouTube livestream of the memorial amassed 2.6 million total video views, its third most-viewed livestream of 2025 with live video views, according to YouTube analytics.
