FOX BUSINESS NETWORK DELIVERED YEAR-OVER-YEAR GROWTH ACROSS THE BOARD IN JULY
FBN’s ‘Kudlow’ Surpassed CNBC’s ‘Closing Bell’ For The 58th Consecutive Month With Viewers
NEW YORK – July 29, 2026 – FOX Business Network (FBN) delivered year-over-year growth across the board with business day, market hours and total day viewers in July, according to Nielsen Media Research Big Data + Panel. FBN’s Kudlow ranked within the top five business programs, surpassing CNBC’s Closing Bell for the 58th consecutive month.
FBN posted a 5% increase during business day for total viewers compared to 2025, nabbing 209,000 viewers. During market hours, the network delivered an increase of 6% from the previous year, securing 204,000 viewers. Meanwhile, during total day, the network saw 2% growth (126,000 viewers) year-over-year.
Larry Kudlow’s eponymous Kudlow (4PM/ET) notched its 58th straight month dominating CNBC’s Closing Bell securing a 35% advantage (256,000 viewers). The show ranked within the top five programs in all of business news.
FBN’s morning show, Mornings with Maria (6-9AM/ET), delivered 98,000 viewers while Varney & Co. (9AM-12PM/ET) drew 249,000 viewers. Additionally, the afternoon program The Big Money Show (12-2PM/ET) captured 189,000 viewers (up 9% year-over-year) while Making Money with Charles Payne (2 PM/ET) garnered 173,000 viewers, which notched a 15% increase over the same month last year. Liz Claman’s The Claman Countdown (3 PM/ET) averaged 174,000 viewers, a 4% increase from the previous year.
The network’s post-market programs each delivered double-digit advantages over their competition. The Evening Edit (5PM/ET) led Fast Money by 16% with 195,000 viewers. Furthermore, The Bottom Line (6PM/ET; 147,000 viewers) obtained a 16% increase over CNBC’s Mad Money. Both leads marked the program’s 29th consecutive monthly victory over their respective competition. On Fridays, Maria Bartiromo’s Wall Street (Fridays; 7-7:30 PM/ET; 97,000 viewers) swept Shark Tank with viewers for the 25th straight month with a 28% lead. During the second half of the 7 PM/ET hour, Barron’s Roundtable (Fridays, 7:30-8 PM/ET) outpaced Shark Tank with a 4% lead, seeing 83,000 viewers.
