JAY WALLACE
PRESIDENT & EXECUTIVE EDITOR
FOX NEWS MEDIA
Jay Wallace joined FOX News Channel (FNC) at its inception in 1996 and currently serves as the President and Executive Editor of FOX News Media. In this role, he oversees all news, programming, operations and editorial across key FOX News Media properties, including FOX News Channel (FNC), FOX Business Network (FBN), FOX News Digital, FOX News Audio and FOX Nation.
After he was named to the executive leadership team in 2017, Wallace helped enhance the network’s newsgathering division, including overseeing the construction and launch of a new state-of-the-art newsroom. He has also expanded the footprint of the news division to ensure dedicated coverage of breaking news outside of Washington and across the globe.
Wallace recently served as a keynote speaker at the Vatican’s 2025 “World Meeting on Human Fraternity,” joining prominent news executives from around the world to reinforce values of trust in media. He has also advanced bipartisan collaboration in the United States through the network’s partnerships with the Edward M. Kennedy Institute and Orrin G. Hatch Foundation’s Senate Project debate series and the Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation & Institute’s Reagan National Defense Forum. Each event convenes policymakers and thought leaders across the political spectrum to engage in substantive dialogue on national issues.
Previously, Wallace served as President of News Editorial where he oversaw the network’s news division, managing all aspects of news programming, newsgathering, political coverage and election season debates and town halls. He also led editorial for FOX News Digital and FOX News Radio, including SiriusXM’s FOX News Headlines 24/7, which he helped launch in 2015.
Notably, in October 2017, Wallace launched FNC’s first-ever live 11 PM/ET nightly news show, Fox News @ Night, and, along with FOX News Media CEO Suzanne Scott, co-created new news programming, including Outnumbered Overtime w/ Harris Faulkner (now The Faulkner Focus) and The Story with Martha MacCallum. Together, Scott and Wallace launched a new weekday daytime programming schedule in 2021, which included a revamped version of FNC mainstay America’s Newsroom, co-anchored by Bill Hemmer and Dana Perino, and the debut of America Reports with John Roberts and Sandra Smith.
Elevated to Executive Vice President of News and Editorial in 2016, Wallace handled day-to-day management of weekday and weekend news programming for the network, including flagship shows such as Special Report with Bret Baier, Shepard Smith Reporting, America’s Newsroom and FOX News Sunday.
During his time at FNC, Wallace has held a number of positions, including Senior Vice President of News and Politics, New York bureau chief, Executive Producer of News and Executive Producer of the original FOX Report with Shepard Smith.
The Hollywood Reporter recognized Wallace as one of the “Most Powerful People in New York Media” in 2018, 2019 and 2022 and he was named one of Cablefax Magazine’s “Top 100 Power Players” in 2018, and 2022 through 2025.
Wallace is a graduate of Hofstra University.
