FOX NEWS CHANNEL TO DEBUT THE FOX NEWS SPECIALISTS AT 5PM/ET ON MAY 1
Co-hosted by FOX News’ Eric Bolling, Katherine Timpf and Eboni K. Williams
FOX News Channel (FNC) will debut a one-hour political talk show entitled, The FOX News Specialists on May 1st, 2017, announced Suzanne Scott, Executive Vice President of Programming. Co-hosted by FNC’s Eric Bolling, Katherine Timpf and Eboni K. Williams, the program will air weeknights live at 5PM/ET from New York City.
Each night, The FOX News Specialists will feature Bolling, Timpf and Williams alongside two special guest experts to discuss the top stories driving the headlines of the day. The daily “specialists” will join the co-hosts to provide unique and unpredictable analysis on the stories trending in America.
In making the announcement, Scott said, “Eric, Katherine and Eboni’s diverse opinions and backgrounds will provide our audience with an hour of informative and entertaining analysis on daily stories that are most important to Americans. The combination of the co-hosts’ expertise in business, millennial and legal topics, respectively, will make for lively and compelling discourse.”
During his tenure at FNC, Bolling has served as the co-host of FNC’s top-rated ensemble program The Five (weekdays 5-6PM/ET) and continues to host Cashin’ In (Saturdays 11:30AM-12PM/ET). Previously, he served as host of FBN’s Follow the Money, Happy Hour and FOXNews.com’s Strategy Room. Prior to joining FBN, Bolling helped launch and was an original panelist on CNBC’s Fast Money. Before embarking on a television career in business news, Bolling was an independent trader based out of the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) and also served on the NYMEX’s Board of Directors for five years. A successful author, his first book “Wake Up America” became an instant New York Times best seller. Bolling is a graduate of Rollins College in Winter Park, FL and was awarded a fellowship to Duke University’s School of Public Policy.
Timpf joined FNC in 2015 as a contributor and provides political commentary regularly to The Greg Gutfeld Show (Sundays at 10PM/ET) and across daytime and primetime programming. She is also a writer for National Review and the host of the podcast The Kat Timpf Show, which airs every Monday on Barstool Sports. Timpf has contributed to several publications including The Orange County Register and Investor’s Business Daily. Previously, she worked as a reporter for Campus Reform in Arlington, VA, and was a digital editor for The Washington Times. Timpf also served as a producer and reporter for Total Traffic Network in Santa Ana, CA. A 2012-13 Robert Novak Fellow, she graduated from Hillsdale College with a B.A. in English.
Williams also joined FNC in 2015 and currently serves as a contributor, occasionally appearing on Outnumbered (weekdays, 12PM/ET) and The Five (weekdays, 5PM/ET). Prior to joining FNC, Williams served as a CBS News correspondent, HLN contributor and talk radio host for Los Angeles’ KFI AM640. She began her professional career in Louisiana in the wake of Hurricane Katrina where she clerked for the Louisiana Secretary of State and the Louisiana Attorney General’s Office as a law student. Williams also worked for various politicians, including New Orleans city council members. Throughout North Carolina and the Greater Los Angeles Area, she has served as both a public defender and in private practice, specializing in family law, criminal and civil litigation. Williams received a B.A. in communications and African-American Studies from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a J.D. from Loyola University New Orleans College of Law.
